  Nice quaint restaurant. Very friendly staff and great food. I am on a gluten free diet and they have great gluten free options like gluten free pizza. Everyone in our party loved the food.

  Wonderful place to eat. Almost everything is organic and local. There are two seating areas, upstairs and downstairs, plus two bars. The building is incredibly old for Halifax, probably over 100 years, and the decor meshes well with the architecture. There are lots of monkey figurines. It's certainly a busy place in the heart of downtown. Prices range from the teens to the thirty dollar range. The service is really professional, and work hard to meet the large clientele. The food is really quite good. I ordered Nova Scotia Salmon, which was pan fried with an onion and maple syrup glaze, garden fresh vegetables and fries (since they were out of baked potatoes). It was excellent. I even took what I couldn't finish home and it was still great. I highly recommend this place for both dates and medium to large groups that want a good meal and good time.

  Fantastic and fresh food. Great experience and a very unique atmosphere inside. Worth checking out for the experience.

  A little pricey but considering the foods sourced locally it's worth it as a treat or for an event. Really friendly waiting staff.
