  One of the best places in the city for brunch! I recommend weekdays to avoid waiting. But it is well worth the wait! The last time I went I think I ordered something not as popular because the ingredients seemed to be turning bad. But every other time Ive been there it has been perfect.

  Had a real good brunch at the Coastal. Decent prices. Had a high chair for the LO. Would definately go back.

  The place is amazing. Love the atmosphere. Food is incrediable. The coastal has become a tradition whenever Im in halifax.

  Good food and a nice slice of north end Halifax style...though their table-wait solution is a bit odd; put down your name, and your order and pay...when your food is ready then they seat you. Always a bit odd paying a tip before you receive the service. Luckily, the service was great and they handled the busy Saturday brunch like champs on a roll. Also, they had cat portraits, so that earns a star.
